Spamming and Spammers

This hasn't been a problem for a years. And so I've never thought it really warranted saying, but a recent incident has changed my mind. Simply put:

Spamming will not be tolerated.

Spamming will result in an immediate banning of violators.

That's not to say you should not pimp your own work, link to your projects or other cool stuff you're involved with. Just don't post it in EVERY BLOODY THREAD YOU CAN FIND.

I thought this was common sense. Please don't prove me wrong.
