Is Card wearing...armour? That is very very cool. Poor old Morlock, he really wasn't expecting that. Trouble just seems to find him though.

I agree, the armor looks great. The filigree, the layers for the upper chest and shoulders... Wish I could afford the time and materials for a cosplay based on that design.
Technical/artistic question: I note that the abdomen and forearm protection includes what look like wrapped strips. Is that the case?
I can wander off into a couple of weird tangents on that point (Concealment possibilities: "No, officer, that isn't any kind of armor, it's just a couple spools of leather-like material that I prefer to use instead of nylon straps for lashing things down to my truck.") but I thought I'd toss it out. |
