Well, I guess I lied about the new wallpaper on wednesday. Sorry about that folks. I think it was worth the wait though, even if it is on the disturbing side of fence. Between school work and an allergy attack turning into a vaguely flu-like illness, I wasn't able to get a comic done this week. I hate missing deadlines. I'm always late to show up, mind you. Karen's taken to telling me to be someplace an hour before I need to be there, just so I show up on time. But when it comes to getting things done, I like to think I'm pretty good about having the producables done by when they need to be done. So, I think I'd be safe to say that I hate not getting a comic done as much if not more than you do. However, in this instance I have a savior!

Beth is a good friend and fellow penguin fanatic that I met at Connecticon. She was the first person that weekend to shreik "Penguin!" and run off with it. She returned it of course, and then stole it another several times before the weekend was up. Beth's also how we met Dave Lister of Paradox Lost fame. And once more she proves her sheer awesomeness by bailing me out and providing the wonderful guest strip that you see today! How about that, our first guest strip? That's pretty sweet. So, thank you Beth for covering my ass and letting me get some homework done. Hopefull I'll be feeling better within another 24 hours or so and I can get to work on bringing the next bout of comicy goodness. I want to say that I'll have something up sooner than monday (to, you know, make up for the lateness) but I can't even come close to guaranteeing that, so I won't say I will. But it might happen anyway.
For those of you who are curious as to what kind of homework I'm burning the midnight oil on (see they shut off the electricity at 10...) you'll have to talk to Bob about that. There might have to be a spin-off comic about Bob. I dunno yet. Too many other comic things going on right now to say. Also, I said something about some other things I've been drawing. Well there are sketches behind the vote icons (because I haven't updated those in a while) so go check them out (because voting is good for the soul).
